Works is not a job

In 2006 Matteo Mastronardi, an Art Director working in the design scene in Rome founded works with the objective of creating an open source community for artists.

Tired of seeing creativity limited, manipulated, exploited, commercialised, enslaved, he envisioned a place where creative individuals could meet to inspire one another, exchange their visions and share their work. Work which begins from a common starting point.
Thus works was born.

Newly re-located to Paris and head-quartered at the city-sponsered art factory 104 "Le CentQuatre", he has assembled a new crew and we are putting forward the call to any and all people who are ready and willing to do some Real Work !

Combining visual arts, music, poetry and film in order to have hip happenings in unusual spaces with DJs, artists, hipsters, artfucks, etc …
This kind of thing is perfect for Paris, and of course we benefit from the exposure, publication, meet new people and enlarge our network!

Works has been accepted as a valid project at Cinq, the "atelier" of artistic practice at 104 - the new amazing art factory of paris…
